Nursing Advisement: Two Pathways

You have made a great decision to pursue your Nursing education at Scottsdale Community College! SCC participates in the MaricopaNursing program, as one of eight Maricopa Community Colleges that offer the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing degree. MaricopaNursing at SCC provides two ways to become a Registered Nurse (RN).

Traditional (RN) Nursing

A non-competitive four (4) semester program that allows you to pursue an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing and become eligible to apply for licensure as an RN.

Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) Nursing

A competitive program that allows you to pursue the AAS in Nursing while also taking courses at a partner university to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the same time.
