Artie’s Welcome provides the opportunity for you to meet faculty & staff, learn about the programs you’ve selected, and also discover the extensive support resources that SCC provides. As a new student, we want to welcome you into the Artichoke family prior to the start of classes. In this orientation, you will have the opportunity to learn about program milestones, career outlooks for your field of interest, along with information about scholarships, career services & internships, library services, service-learning, and more.

Sessions are organized by Fields of Interest (FOI)—if you aren’t sure which FOI includes your major, check the Fields of Interest.

While the material is geared toward new students, prospective and current students can attend. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet fellow students in your same area of study.
