Registration for Scottsdale Community College courses is easy and convenient. Whether you are a new, continuing, or former student, you have multiple ways to secure your spot in upcoming semesters.

Priority Registration: Get Ahead!

Priority Registration: March 2 – March 22, 2026.

Did you know that currently enrolled SCC students can register for next semester’s classes before anyone else? Priority Registration gives you a head start on continuing your education and securing the course schedule you want before classes fill up. For a full list of enrollment timelines, refer to the Maricopa Important Dates.

Steps to Success:

Plan: Use your Pathway Planner or meet with an advisor to determine your courses.

Find Classes: Visit Find A Class to locate specific sections, days, and times.

Register: Sign up starting March 2, 2026.

Open Registration: Join Our Community

Open Registration: Begins March 23, 2026.

Open registration is available to the general public and any students who did not register during the priority period. While you can still find many excellent options, we recommend registering as soon as possible after this date to ensure you secure a place in your preferred classes before they reach capacity. Ways to Register

Once you have been admitted to SCC, you can register using any of the following methods:

  • Online (Fastest):
    • Go to the Student Center (link) to start the process. You will need your MEID to log in. For step-by-step assistance, please refer to and use the Student Center Guide.
  • By Phone: (480) 423-6100
    • A registration clerk will assist you with the registration process or answer general questions.
    • Preparation: To expedite the process, please have your Student ID or MEID, your FERPA Pin, and the five-digit "class" number ready for all classes.
  • In Person:
    • Visit the Admissions, Records & Registration Office.
    • Requirement: A completed Enrollment Request Form must be submitted to a Registration Clerk. The form is available in the Admissions, Records & Registration Office.

Important Information

  • Pre-requisites: Students who are requesting registration for courses that require prerequisites must have the prerequisites on file prior to registration. Please refer to our Pre/Corequisite Override Form.
  • Contact the Instructor: Locate their email in the Employee Directory and email them from your Official Maricopa Student Email.
  • Include Details: Provide the specific Class Number and attach supporting documentation (such as unofficial transcripts) to show requirements are met.
  • Process: If the instructor approves, simply forward their approval email to [email protected] and we’ll take care of the rest!

Secure Your Classes

After you have registered for classes, you are almost ready for the semester. The next step is to secure your classes by making a plan to pay your tuition by the semester due date. To check the due date of your tuition and fees, go to your Student Center.
