How much time are you spending each week?

To get started with the Time Management Calculator, enter how many hours each week you spend on school, work, and personal activities. A week consists of seven days and has a total of 168 hours. Course time includes class, study, and homework. Fill out each section with an estimated amount of time you would spend on an activity in one week, rounding to the closest hour. As you fill out each section, the chart will auto-populate, showing the amount of weekly hours used and the weekly hours remaining. You may leave some sections at zero if they do not apply to you. When you add the number of course credits, you'll see that the duration of the course (1st 8 weeks, 2nd 8 weeks, 14 weeks, 15 weeks, or 16 weeks) affects the time needed weekly. The shorter the course duration, the more time is needed each week. The pie chart starts out light gray, showing you have 168 hours available in a week. As you add activities, the pie chart will show three additional colors to make it easier to see the time spent on your school, work, and personal activities. Each slice in the pie chart represents the percentage of weekly time spent on a specific activity. Hover over a slice to see the percentage of time spent on that activity. The colors are explained in the legend below.
