Brainfuse Tutoring: online, anytime, anywhere
Available 24/7 from any computer, online tutoring fits into your schedule when you're ready for help, wherever you are. SCC provides all currently enrolled students free online tutoring through Brainfuse, up to 6 hours per student, per semester. Please use your time effectively and be prepared with your questions before you connect to a tutor.
Live Help: Enjoy live, on-demand help from Brainfuse certified tutors in a variety of college subjects. Tutors and students communicate in real time through the Brainfuse Online Classroom. Whatever you type, draw, or share on the screen, the tutor sees, and vice versa. All sessions are recorded for you to review later.
Writing Lab: Submit papers for any class to Writing Lab along with your questions, and a tutor will respond within 24 hours.

Brainfuse works on Windows and Mac computers in any modern web browser (with HTML5). You do not need any additional downloads or plugins to meet with a tutor. Apps are also available for iOS and Android.

Making the Most of Your Online Tutoring Experience
To make the most of your online tutoring experience, remember that Brainfuse is not a homework answering service. Please do not use Brainfuse like Google to look up answers or ask Brainfuse tutors to do your research, work, or specific assignments for you. Tutors will not give answers or edit papers but will provide feedback to help you to improve your skills. Be prepared to provide your tutor with information about your assignment and to dialogue through this process together.
Statement of Academic Integrity
Students may use Brainfuse only for the Scottsdale Community College courses in which they are currently enrolled. The use of Brainfuse for coursework from other institutions is strictly prohibited and subject to the college's policies and procedures regarding the acceptable use of student support resources. Brainfuse tutoring sessions are recorded and reviewed by college personnel on a regular basis.
