Access to study spaces in the Information Technology (IT) Building is currently limited to SCC students, faculty, and staff.

Only current SCC students, staff and faculty can make reservations for the ITS Student Tech Center spaces using this online booking system.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reserve a space using your mobile device or online.
  • Use your student MEID and password to log in.
  • Select a starting time from the grid.
  • Extend the time by using the dropdown menu below the grid.
  • Click on submit.
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and click on Continue.
  • Provide your name and [email protected] email address and phone number, then submit the "Submit My Book" button.

  • IT-100A Collaboration Room, capacity 6
  • IT-100B Collaboration Room, capacity 4

Collaboration Room usage:

  • Priority will first be given to groups of 2-8 SCC students with reservations, then other SCC affiliates.
  • No private tutoring for hire is allowed.

Collaboration Room Time Limits:

  • 30 minutes up to 2 hours at a time.
  • 2 reservations allowed per student, per week.
  • Can reserve up to 1 week in advance.
  • Reservation will be canceled after 15 minutes of reserved time if no one in the group is present.

Please note: Placing backpacks or books in the room does not hold the room for you. You must reserve the space.

Security/Other Information:

  • No food or drinks with loose lids are permitted in the computer lab area of the Student Tech Center. Bottles or other containers that have a secure screwed-on lid may be placed on the floor.
  • No non-instructional movies or gaming.
  • Never leave any belongings unattended in the rooms, as you are solely responsible for your personal belongings.
  • For disputes regarding reservations, please seek assistance at the Student Tech Center or Reference Desk.
  • Inform the IT Help Desk of any infractions, either via email or call us at (480) 423‑6274.
  • All users must follow the Code of Conduct.

  • Use the link in your confirmation email to check in.
  • Check in up to 5 minutes in advance of reservation start time.
  • Check out up to 5 minutes after booking end time.
  • Reservation will be cancelled if not checked in 15 minutes after start time.

Please note:

  • If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please stay home.
  • A reservation is required before you can have access to the space.
  • Masks that cover the mouth and nose must be worn at all times.
  • Please maintain a distance of 3 feet from others.
  • No food or drink.
  • Please check in at the front desk when arriving for your reservation.
  • Be sure to bring your ID.
  • Your reservation will be canceled if you do not check in 15 minutes after the start time.
