It’s time to show off your school spirit and put on your Artichoke gear for all to see! Scottsdale Community College’s Artichoke Spirit Week takes over campus from Monday, October 20, until Friday, October 24.

Now, Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is making it easier than ever to learn how to use AI tools effectively with a brand-new class: Unlock the Power of AI: Skills for Work, School & Life (CIS 280AB).

College is so much more than lectures and assignments—it’s about finding your people, building connections, and making memories that will last a lifetime! On Tuesday, September 23, and Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Student Cafeteria, you can dive into campus life, meet new friends, and discover interests you never knew you had.

National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15,
recognizes and celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of individuals who
came to the U.S. from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Scottsdale Community College (SCC) celebrates the start of a new semester with a historic milestone by launching its first-ever bachelor’s degree program, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management. As of the start of the fall semester, the program has enrolled 474 students, setting a record for the largest debut enrollment of any bachelor’s program in the Maricopa County Community College District.
