Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is thrilled to announce Rock enROLLment Day, a dynamic and personalized summer enrollment event designed to make the enrollment process to college as smooth as possible. This event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and is free to attend.

Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month – also known as Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – occurs each May. We take this time to honor the Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched our country's heritage and are instrumental to its future.

April 20th is an important day in the Cannabis industry. Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is celebrating 4/20 by expanding its Cannabis Business programs, which are eligible for financial aid, and with new scholarships awarded by Mint Cannabis Dispensary.

The Maricopa Community Colleges recently named Girls Get IT and Scottsdale Community College (SCC) its 2023-2024 District-wide Innovation of the Year. The annual competition among the 10 Maricopa community colleges (of which SCC is one) and the district office celebrates the innovative practices in higher education today.

The Maricopa Community Colleges Diversity Advisory Council recognizes the efforts of
Maricopa employees who integrate diversity, equity, inclusiveness, and engagement into our
educational mission.  Together we celebrate and share their successes to inspire and motivate
others to continue to build on these efforts.
