SCC Sonder Open-Mic

About SCC Sonder

SCC Sonder is a series of spoken word events that allows creative writers of all skill levels to gather and share original pieces of work focused on a central theme with the goal of forming authentic connections that strengthen our community.

October Theme: Hunger

Prepare and submit your pieces about the things you crave, desire, or believe are currently missing from the world.

All SCC students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend and participate by reading their personal narratives, flash fiction, manuscript excerpts, poetry, monologues, lyrics, or perform songs in front of a supportive audience.
