Students attending Scottsdale Community College for the first time, as well as returning students, are invited to join Artie’s Welcome, SCC’s signature new student orientation event designed to transition you smoothly into college life. Scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2025, this event welcomes you into the Artichoke family prior to the first day of class.

Whether you’re a recent high school graduate, a transfer student, or a continuing adult learner, this event is structured to help you build confidence and feel at home on campus.
