Grab your green and gold, and join your fellow students, faculty and staff members in celebrating Artichoke Pride Week at Scottsdale Community College, from October 24 through 28. All events are in-person and free! Please check back to this page for links and current information.

Monday, October 24
Artie Mile Walk
10 - 11 am | SC Student Center
Kick off the week by wearing green and yellow and either walking SCC’s Artie Mile with fellow employees and students OR if you cannot join us on campus, go for a walk, run or hike and post your own photo at #ArtichokePrideWeek2022 to show your spirit! If you join us on campus, please plan to meet on the east side of the Student Center (listen for the music!) at 10 am.
Artie Cupcake Walk
12 - 1 pm | SCC East Patio
No miles required! Come on out and join Artie and try your chance to win a fancy cupcake! It’s the perfect dessert after lunch!

Continuing with tradition, the Student Experience & Leadership Office invites you to showcase your singing (& dancing) talent at the college’s annual open mic event. Prizes will be given to the winners in each category!

Artie's Birthday Backyard Bash

Wear a shirt or jersey that represents your club, team or department and celebrate Artie’s special day today! Join SCC’s clubs and Council of Student Leaders in celebrating Artie’s 50th birthday! Culinary Arts to supply a big birthday cake for everyone to share! And be sure to be one of the first 250 to get a FREE hot dog, chips and soda from SCC's cafeteria Artie's Cafe!
