Associate in General Studies

The Associate in General Studies (AGS) degree is recommended to students whose educational goals require flexibility. A minimum of 60 credit hours are required for the AGS degree. The AGS allows students to choose any elective courses numbered 100 or above to complete the degree. Therefore, this degree may be less appropriate for students who intend to transfer to a baccalaureate-granting institution.
