The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Building Information Modeling and Drafting and associated technologies for the development of basic and advanced drafting and modeling skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems. This certificate of completion stands alone but can also be integrated into the Architectural Technology AAS or CCL degree program.

- Apply current standards in MEP drafting—including dimensioning, symbology, linetypes, lineweights, and annotation—to read, interpret, and produce construction documents and portfolio-quality working drawings for building systems.
- Use the latest 2D, 3D, and parametric CAD and BIM software to develop technical drawings, models, and system layouts that are efficient and compliant with standard MEP industry practices.
- Integrate BIM concepts to coordinate, analyze, and document MEP systems throughout the design and construction process.
- Employ the principles of construction processes and the properties of materials and equipment specific to MEP systems.
- Apply MEP-related building codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in design and documentation.
- Produce MEP sketches, multi-view layouts, sections, system details, working drawings, and schedules for equipment, fixtures, and building components.
- Communicate effectively in verbal, written, and graphical forms to collaboratively solve complex design and coordination problems within MEP disciplines and across project teams.
