Launch Your Career with SCC’s NEW Hospitality Work & Learn Program
In this unique program, premier hospitality partners seek to hire SCC students to work in a variety of roles within their properties while supporting participants as they complete a certificate or degree in hospitality.
Program begins in Spring 2023
- Participants work approximately 20 hours per week while simultaneously taking classes at SCC to achieve a certificate or associate degree in hospitality
- Apply what you learn in class while on the job
- The hospitality partner that hires you will pay for your tuition! (Up to 15 credits per semester for the duration of your CCL or degree program, excluding program fees and text books.)
- Gain valuable work experience and earn money while in school
- Take classes with like-minded students and network with industry professionals
- Learn from instructors with industry experience and meet workplace mentors
- If you are already working in hospitality, upskill to increase your opportunities for promotions
Covid Requirement at the Vi Senior Living Properties
Please note: Due to the nature of the work at the two Vi Living properties, participants must be current with vaccinations (including for Covid-19) for employment consideration. This requirement does NOT apply to participants interested in working with The Royal Palms or Marriott properties.
