Get Started with the Time Management Calculator!
Enter how many hours you spend each week on school, work, and personal activities. Remember — a week has 7 days and 168 hours total.
When adding your school time, include everything related to your classes, such as lectures, studying, and homework. Estimate how much time you spend on each activity in a week and round to the nearest hour.
As you fill out each section, the chart will automatically update to show:
- Total weekly hours used
- Hours remaining
If a section doesn’t apply to you, just leave it at zero.
When you add your course credits, you’ll see how course duration (for example, 8-week or 16-week sessions) affects your weekly time commitment. Shorter courses usually require more time each week.
The pie chart begins in light gray, representing the full 168 hours in your week. As you enter activities, it will fill with three colors representing your school, work, and personal time. Each slice shows the percentage of time you spend on that category — hover over a slice to see the exact percentage. You can refer to the legend below the chart to determine the meaning of each color.
