Get Started with Dual Enrollment

We’re excited to have you as a student! Follow the steps below to get started with Dual Enrollment at Scottsdale Community College and mark your calendar with the important dates.

  • Fall 2021 Deadlines:
    • 9/10/21 - Deadline to submit Enrollment Steps Form
    • 10/1/21 - Deadline to pay tuition
  • Spring 2022 Deadlines:
    • 2/4/22 - Deadline to apply for Maricopa Tuition Assistance Grant
    • 2/11/22 - Deadline to submit Enrollment Steps Form
    • 2/25/22 - Deadline to pay tuition

Please note: Self-enrollment is not allowed, please follow the steps below to register. Allow 7-10 business days to process the enrollment form. Your enrollment submission may be delayed if information or documentation is incomplete.

First-Time Dual Enrollment Students

Step 1: Apply for Admissions at Scottsdale Community College

  1. Start the “High School Students” application
  2. Create student account
  3. Select a college
  4. Submit proof of identification
  5. When you finish your application, you will receive:
    • MEID (User ID)
    • Student ID Number
    • Maricopa Email

Step 2: Determine Placement

  • Our colleges utilize multiple options to determine course placement for students.
  • Seniors and Juniors
    • High School Unofficial Transcript, unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.6 or higher
    • AzMerit ELA of “Proficient” or higher
    • Composite ACT score of 12 or higher
    • SAT or PSAT
    • EdReady Test
  • Sophomores
    • AzMerit ELA of “Proficient” or higher
    • Composite ACT score of 12 or higher
    • SAT or PSAT
    • EdReady Test
  • Freshman

Step 3: Complete Enrollment Steps

Step 4: Pay Tuition

Deadline to pay tuition is February 25, 2022. If you are a high school student enrolled at Scottsdale Community College Dual Enrollment program, you can apply for the Dual Enrollment Grant to help with tuition costs. Application deadline is February 4, 2022 by 5 pm.

Returning Dual Enrollment Students

Step 1: Determine Placement

  • Our colleges utilize multiple options to determine course placement for students.

Note passwords must be highly complex, 12 characters containing upper & lower case, numbers and special characters which cannot be similar to your name.
