Did you know you can take college courses during high school?
Concurrent enrollment provides you with a head start in college by allowing you to take college credit courses while still completing your high school education.
You can transfer general education classes to fulfill your lower-division general education requirements for an associate degree. Then, you can transfer those credits to complete your bachelor degree.
Benefits
Transferable Credit - Concurrent Enrollment students receive, upon request, a Scottsdale Community College (SCC) transcript that may be submitted to the college of their choice. Articulation agreements are in place among all Arizona public colleges and universities. Since SCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, students are successful in transferring courses to Arizona public colleges and universities. Students are encouraged to visit aztransfer.com to learn exactly how the classes are accepted at public Arizona universities.
Save Money - Tuition is currently $85 per credit hour for students qualified for in-state tuition, and a $15 registration fee per semester.
Bridge to College - Students learn and adapt to the rigors of college course work while in a familiar setting. Students learn skills and behaviors that will aid them in college.
