Philosophy

Philosophy

The discipline of Philosophy is ancient, deep, and broad. From questions about the nature of the universe, the nature of humans, the existence God, how humans ought to live and behave, and what makes something beautiful, Philosophy informs us in countless ways and enriches our lives.

Students in the Philosophy program earn the Associate of Arts, which prepares them for transfer to a four-year program. If students follow the correct transfer path, they enter transfer partner universities as junior. Courses are available in-person (day and evening) and online.

The minimum time to complete the Associate of Art degree is four full-time (15-16 credit hours) semesters for students who have no pre-existing college credit.
