The Health Sciences Building houses the school’s Nursing program. A $4.25 million renovation project to the building was completed in 2013. The new Nursing building doubled the physical space of the program and added a 90-seat lecture hall and 60-seat flexible-space classroom. Other important features include a 10-bed lab, modeled after actual clinical settings, and five medical simulation rooms, with a high-tech control room for monitoring activity during simulations.
The building provides an expanded educational experience for students by using the latest video and streaming technology, including 40 cameras and capture devices.
