Computer Lab

    The Writing Center is an open Macintosh and IBM/PC facility that is provided at no charge to the students. The Center offers access to Microsoft Office and Netscape as well as many other programs designed to help students strengthen their English and foreign language skills.  Students may use any of the computers that are available, although priority will be given to writing, foreign language, and communication students.  In order to help students who need computer assistance, the Writing Center has at least one computer technician on duty during all hours of operation. 
A scanner, zip drive and color printer are available for class assignments.

The Writing Center strives to meet student needs but
DOES NOT
allow students to perform these tasks:
? Multiple printing of any disk files
? Printing of Internet files (except for specific class assignments)
? Use of chat rooms (except for specific class assignments)
? The Writing Center is not a teaching facility.  Students are expected to have basic computer skills and understand basic computer operations.
