         June 1 - July 10, 2009

A Note from the Director

Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre (SCT) offers an exciting opportunity for area acting students to come together in a special place of learning. There is no other conservatory program like it in Arizona. We are introducing students to Shakespeare along with other classics and new plays. This is an aggressive and nurturing program that will benefit students at every level of acting. I promise you that after these six weeks of actor boot camp you will never be the same!

There are several special advantages for students enrolled in SCT, including:

Comprehenshive training in area of acting
Side by side work with the professional staff in daily classes, rehearsals, labs and performances
Public performances for ALL students
Nurturing environment to study with committed peers with like interests
12 semester hours of credit from Scottsdale Community College

At SCT we believe that three things are necessary for a theatre career:

talent... training... discipline

If you are ready to join us, I urge you to apply!

     Sincerely,

Randy Messersmith
