PLACEMENT TESTS  - NEW TO COLLEGE STUDENTS   ·       New college students seeking a degree    or transfer will complete placement   testing in all three subject areas;         English, Reading, and Math; in one   test session.                                     ·       Allow 2 hours for completion of all three subject areas.   Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm Friday*                     8:15 am - 3:00 pm	PLACEMENT TESTS - SINGLE TEST SESSIONS -      ·       For continuing or transfer students who have not earned college credit in English, Reading or Math; or for those students who are retesting in a subject area. ·       Allow one hour per assessment for completion     Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 5:30 pm Friday*                     8:15 am - 3:30 pm
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)   ·       The CELSA test is given for ESL course placement. ·       Allow one hour for completion.   Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 5:30 pm Friday*                    8:15 am - 3:30 pm	DISTANCE LEARNING     ·      Proctoring services are available for non-SCC students Monday – Friday* 8:15 am to 3:30 pm; by appointment only. Students must schedule appointment a week in advance. ·      Fee is $15.00 per exam.

NET (Nurse Entrance Test)   ·       Allow 2 ½ hours for completion.  The NET is not available during the week before classes begin, the first week of classes, or during finals week   Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 4:00 pm Friday*                    8:15 am - 2:00pm	HCC Credit by Exam   ·       Referral forms are available in the Admissions Office. ·       Allow 75 minutes per exam for completion.     Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 5:30 pm Friday*                     8:15 am - 3:30 pm
SCC INSTRUCTOR TESTING (MAKE-UP/SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS)   ·      Students must know their instructor’s name and the name of the course/exam they are taking.  Students must arrive at the Testing Center with adequate time to complete the exam (per instructor’s guidelines).   Monday – Friday* beginning at 8:15 am.  All exams will be collected 10 minutes prior to closing (6:50 pm Monday – Thursday and 4:50 pm on Fridays*).
