
The Center was created to support faculty and staff in:
- instructional development learning opportunities
- the pursuit of continuous quality improvement
- meaningful dialog and research related to instructional development
- the development and application of appropriate technology to enhance teaching and learning
The CTLT provides the following resources to all SCC faculty and staff:
? Windows and Macintosh computer workstations

? Faxing, scanning, and printing equipment
? Questions about computer hardware and software answered by Open Computer Lab staff
? Consultations with IT instructional staff (by appointment)
? Conference area (with built-in data projector system, plus a VCR and monitor) for faculty developments events and meetings

? Library and "tranquility" reading area

? Other resources include: Samples of prior years' EDP Grants, Sabbatical Proposals, Learning Grants, Innovation of the Year nominations, etc.
The CTLT is located in the Business building -- BU130/132. Please enter through the Open Computer Lab (BU133W) and follow the sign to the main entrance of the CTLT through BU130.

The CTLT is open the following hours, for your convenience
(CTLT staff available Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm)
Fall/Spring Semester Hours:
? Monday through Thursday from 7am to 8pm
? Fridays from 8am to 5pm
? Saturdays from 8am to 4pm
(Hours vary during intersessions; closed on regular MCCD holidays)
The Computer Training Rooom, in BU141N, is also operated by the CTLT. Our training workshops (click here for schedule) are available free to SCC faculty and staff.
