SCC’s Film School Alumni Make Waves in Film/Television Industry
Scottsdale, AZ (September 2, 2008) – Alumni from Scottsdale Community College’s Motion Picture/Television program continue to accomplish great things in the film and television industry. Crediting the program and their instructors for providing them with the skills and hands-on experiences they use daily in their jobs, each has taken their talent and ambitions into a variety of creative directions. SCC’s Sports Performance Coordinator -- Ethan Banning -- Named Arizona State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association
Scottsdale, AZ (September 2, 2008) – Scottsdale Community College’s Sports Performance Coordinator, Ethan Banning, was recently named the Arizona State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) at the National Conference held in Las Vegas. SCC's Drawing Exhibition: "Not Just Another Drawing Show!"
Scottsdale, AZ (August 19, 2008) – It's time for some fine art! Come take in the sights of unique charcoal drawings created by SCC artists under the direction of SCC Art professor Robert You. Scottsdale Community College Theatre Arts Graduate – Pasha Yamotahari ––Awarded Internship at Famed Eugene O’Neill Theater Center
Scottsdale, AZ (August 12, 2008) – The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts hosted its 40th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) in Washington, D.C. in April where students from eight regional Kennedy Center festivals across the country were selected to showcase their talents at the nation’s center for the performing arts. Maricopa Community Colleges Among Nation's Top Degree Producers
Tempe, AZ (July 30, 2008) – The Maricopa Community Colleges are one of the largest educational systems in the country. SCC Womens Track Team Excels On and Off the Field for 2008 Season!

SCC Womens Tennis Team Earns High Academic and Athletic Honors for 2008 Season
Scottsdale, AZ (July 15, 2008) – The SCC Womens Tennis Team had a tremendous 2008 season, excelling both on and off the court.
