Standardized TestA test that compares the performance of an individual with a norm for a group. A norm includes the average score for that group coupled with information about the percentage of individuals who deviate from the average by various amounts. For example, the average score on the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Test is 100. Scores between 90 and 110, inclusive, are considered to be within the normal range. Scores below 90 are considered to be subnormal; and scores above 110 are considered to be supranormal. |
