Cesky Krumlov
With its Old Town almost encircled by the Vltava River, Cesky Krumlov is a jewel of historical architecture in Southern Bohemia. The town castle has preserved its medieval center as no other town in the region. For this reason it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Most of the architecture of the old town and castle region dates from the 14th through 17th centuries. The town's structures are primarily in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.
