Hello and welcome. My name is Mark Butler. As you have probably already perceived (at one level of consciousness, or another), I am a typically weird and mildy eccentric techy type who is fortunate to be employed by the nation's largest community college system, the Maricopa County Community College District, serving the cities of Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, Scottsdale, Chandler and Gilbert, as well as many other cities, towns and unincorporated neighborhoods within the physical boundaries and legal domain of Maricopa County, Arizona. 

I am currently employed as MCTV Programming Coordinator for theMaricopa County Community College District, and I can currently be found on the campus of Scottsdale Community College, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the current home of  MCTV, the Maricopa Colleges Television channel, which is carried throughout the Phoenix / Maricopa County "Valley of the Sun" greater municiple area on Cox Digital Channel 115.   Our production students and staff are basically responsible for providing arts, entertainment, public interest, and some college sports programming for primetime broadcast between the hours of 6:00 and 11:00 pm each evening.  During the daytime hours, programming consists primarily of telecourses and other, more specifically educational fare, and overnight hours currently feature international and foreign language programming, downlinked from satellite.
