Instructional Strategic Technology Action Committee (iSTAC)

(to be revised) The mission of the Scottsdale Community College Ocotillo Committee is to support the technological needs of the campus.  It is the committee's responsibility to develop and monitor a plan that establishes priorities regarding the acquisition, maintenance, and support for the use of technology at SCC.

The plan:

• will be consistent with the SCC Mission Statement and Strategic Plan,
• must be flexible to allow for technological developments and for evolving needs,
• should specify an annual evaluation of technology at SCC in relation to standards across the United States, as well as student and employee satisfaction.

The SCC Ocotillo Committee completed and approved its campus technology plan on March 25, 1998. This plan has had and will continue to have a significant impact on everyone at SCC.  The plan contains policies for the implementation and support of the campus technology inventory.
