SCC Theatre Arts Faculty Perform in Phoenix Theatre’s New Works Festival

Scottsdale, AZ (July 22, 2009) – SCC Theatre Arts faculty (and GCC Communications faculty) have been keeping busy this summer.  Don’t miss a chance to take in a couple their shows coming up at Phoenix Theatre.

PT’s New Works Festival has two remaining productions Cloning Peter written by GCC Communications instructor Kirt Shineman.  Performances are July 24^th at 7:30pm, July 25^th at 3pm and 7:30pm, and July 26^th at 2pm.  The play is directed by Robbie Harper and features SCC Theatre Arts Director Randy Messersmith and SCC’s Conservatory Theatre adjunct faculty member Maren Mascarelli.  Talk backs follow each performance.

The final play of the season The Power of Birds by Robin Rice Lichtig, directed by Dan Schay, features SCC Theatre Arts adjunct faculty member Elaine "E.E" Moe.  Performances: July 31 at 7:30pm and August 1 at 3:00pm and 7:30pm.
