Darkness to Light: SCC's 8th Annual Drawing Exhibition Opens August 31
Scottsdale, AZ (July 23, 2007) ? Scottsdale Community College's 8th Annual Drawing Exhibition entitled Darkness to Light will be presented by the Art Department August 31 through September 28, 2007.
The exhibit will be located in the foyer of the Art Building.
All the drawings in the exhibit were done during the Spring, 2007 semester by artists under the guidance of Professor Robert You, who started the show eight years ago. All drawings are done in charcoal. The drawing by Sonchen Patton also uses pastel color chalk.

An artist reception will be held on Saturday, September 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at the reception.
The hours of the exhibition will be:
Mondays through Thursdays - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays -9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Sundays, Holidays, and during school breaks
