Insinuating a Thousand Words

 

~ A carefully placed shoulder, a slight movement of the hand, and gently focused eyes,

take you into a narrative that is beyond the page ~ 

 

Scottsdale, AZ (October 31, 2007) ? Please join us at the SCC Performing Arts Center for Insinuating A Thousand Words - a dance concert presented by the Scottsdale Community College Dance Department.  The concert will take place on November 30th and December 1st at 8:00 PM. SCC Dancer

 

Insinuating A Thousand Words is a collaborative dance event presented by three resident dance companies:  Instinct Dancecorps, SCC Moving Company, and Scottsdale Arizona Jazz Ensemble (S.A.J.E.).  The companies will perform works by SCC Faculty, guest choreographers Teal Darkenwald, Aaron McGloin, and nationally acclaimed choreographer Bradley Michaud.  This collaborative dance event is guaranteed to be a riveting evening of entertainment for all ages.

 

Instinct Dancecorps will premiere works by Carley Conder, Andrea Hashim, and guest choreographer Bradley Michaud, and a collaborative piece by the Instinct Dancecorps dancers. The SCC Moving Company will perform works by Angela Rosenkrans, Andrea Hashim, and guest choreographer Teal Darkenwald. Scottsdale Arizona Jazz Ensemble (S.A.J.E.) will perform works by Jennifer McKusick and guest choreographer Aaron McGloin.

 

In the tradition of SCC Dance productions, Insinuating A Thousand Words will consist of original compositions of athleticism and artistry in many dance genres. Arizonans will not want to miss this remarkable performance!

$10 for General Admission; $5 for students/senior citizens.
