Busy people deserve options when it comes to college.  Whether you have your sights set on a new career, or you’re taking your first two years at a community college to save money before transferring to a university, many of the courses you need are now provided in accelerated and alternate formats at SCC – designed to fit your schedule.

Daniel Corr, Vice President of Academic Affairs at SCC explains that the college is attempting to be responsive to the needs of working adults who require flexibility in their college experience.

“We realize that ‘one size does not fit all’ when it comes to college programs and courses,” said Corr.  “We are committed to providing not only a full range of course offerings to meet our students’ needs, but also a variety of course delivery modes such as online, hybrid and accelerated courses.”

Classes with flexible and accelerated formats include Computer Information Systems, Forensic Science, Interior Design, Health Science, English, Chemistry, Math, Spanish, Elementary Education, Hospitality & Tourism, and much more.
