SCC's Fine Arts Day to Showcase Educational Opportunities in the Arts!
Scottsdale, AZ (February 6, 2008) -- Experience the world of art in real time! Don't miss SCC's 2nd Annual Fine Arts Day, February 28, 2008 from 6:30 -- 8pm, at Scottsdale Community College, 9000 E. Chaparral Rd. The event is free and open to the public.

Fine Arts Day is an interactive, experiential showcase of the following Fine Arts departments: The Film School, Communication, Art, Theatre, and Music. Activities include:
- Interactive sidewalk mural (guests are invited to add their artistic touch!)
- Student sculpture exhibit in Art building foyer
- Life Drawing class in progress
- Video montage of student work, art events, and travel abroad
- Student work displayed throughout Art building
- Music performances by the SCC Jazz band, A Cappella Choir, Women's Choir, Community Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, Rock Band, Jazz Combo, and more.
- Studio recording demos
- Electronic music demos
- Photo shoot in progress
- Film, Radio and TV studio operations, including green screen and control room operations, screenwriting lab, and equipment used to make movies including various cameras, sound equipment, and editing equipment.
- Theatre scenic and lighting design in progress
- Comedy workshop (don't miss a chance to take part in this fun-filled workshop!)
