The Anti-Defamation League & Scottsdale Community College present The Many Faces of Hate Film Series
Scottsdale, AZ (March 18, 2009) – Join us for a screening of Eye of the Beholder to be followed by public discussion.
This film is about Riceville, Iowa third grade teacher Jane Elliot, who in response to the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., devised the controversial and startling, "Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes" exercise. This now famous exercise labels participants as inferior or superior based solely upon the color of their eyes and exposes them to the experience of being a minority.
