Famed Disc Jockey – Z-Trip Comes to Scottsdale Community College February 18

Scottsdale, AZ (February 4, 2009) – Famed disc jockey – Z-Trip will pay a visit to Scottsdale Community College’s DJ and Turntablism classes on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the Peridot room at the SCC campus at 9000 E. Chaparral Rd. in Scottsdale. 

The event is free and open to all SCC students, alumni, friends and members of the community.  A strong supporter of DJ education, Z-Trip will speak about his career and perform.

Z-Trip is one of the biggest DJs in the world.  A native of the Valley, he is the inventor of the modern DJ ‘mashup.’  Z-Trip tours the world performing his signature craft.

Considered by many to be a founder of the mash-up movement, his musical tastes are eclectic and his mixing style rejects simple classification.
