The Many Faces of Hate Film Series continues at SCC... "Racism + Greed = Revolution"
Scottsdale, AZ (February 1, 2008) -- This popular film series continues on February 13 with a documentary highlighting one of the most dangerous white supremacist groups in US history. This emotionally-charged program is called The Hate Conspiracy-The Rise & Fall of the Order.
In this gritty film, ABC New anchor Hugh Downs and correspondent Meredith Vieira document the history of the white supremacist group - The Order - from its birth as a spin-off of Aryan Nations to its fiery end. Interviews with disaffected members, federal agents, and others disclose telling details about founder Robert Matthews, such as the pernicious influence of The Turner Diaries. The program also describes The Order's role in armored car robberies and in the assassination of Denver talk radio personality Alan Berg.
