From the cradle of civilization to the dawn of the modern era, Italy has it all. 

Our journey begins in northern Italy in the cities of Verona, Venice, Parma & Ravenna.  Then on to the regions of Tuscany and Umbria to the cities of Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, ending in Rome.

We will take a historical journey through the ages: Visit the catacombs in Rome and the early church in Venice and Ravenna.  In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, see the David, the Gates of Paradise and the Duomo by Brunelleschi along with paintings and sculptures by Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo.  Step back in time in the medieval hilltop towns of Assisi, Siena and San Gimignano; approach St. Peter?s as a 17^th c. pilgrim, and be swept into the arms of the mother church in Rome.  Stand in awe before Michelangelo? St. Peter?s Pieta as morning vespers are sung in the crypt below.  Bask in the picturesque beauty of the Italian countryside.
