Describe an act of racial or ethnic discrimination that you have witnessed and/or experienced.  If you have not witnessed or experienced an act of discrimination directly, you will ask other people if they have witnessed or experienced one.  You will write a paper that will do the following:

1. Describe the act.  What kind of discrimination is it:  economic (job, housing, banks), social (exclusion, mistreatment), institutional (part of the way society works). 
2. What emotions did the act evoke in you?  In other words, how did it make you feel?
3. Relate the act to topics we have covered in our class.

Include a brief introduction and conclusion.
