Fully trained Repair Services Technicians install, troubleshoot, and repair a broad spectrum of technology. These include Apple Computers, ranging from Power Macs to G4's and Windows computers, ranging from Pentium I systems to Pentium III systems. Technicians are also a valuable resource when planning upgrades, purchases or changes in technology. Our technicians are skilled in areas ranging from the network connection to the PC to peripherals (printers, modems, scanners, digital assistants, digital cameras).
The first point of contact for the user requesting service is to call the SCC HelpDesk Line at (480) 423-6274. Problems or requests that can not be handled over the phone are entered into the Service Request System.
The caller is asked to be prepared to give the location of the equipment, the inventory tag#, the model, and a complete description of the problem. The information is then entered into the service database. The database is reviewed daily and technicians are assigned to specific requests. Users may also enter or check the status of requests via our online Service Request System.
