2008 Summer and Fall Class Schedules

Classes are scheduled for working adults. Each 5-week ON-CAMPUS course meets once per week for 4 hours at the SCC Business Institute. [Other locations noted.] Each ONLINE class meets entirely online and has weekly due dates. Materials and assignments are posted at our web site for 24/7 access and there are no complicated course management systems to learn. Since there are no scheduled meetings to attend you can study at your convenience. Each class is 3 credits.

ACC110 Accounting Skills and Applications
3 credits


Develops basic accounting skills including analyzing and journalizing transactions, comprehension of the balance sheet, income statement, and equity and cash flow statements. Explores usage of specialized journals and subsidiary ledgers in a computerized system. Studies the impact of various transactions on an enterprise, including payroll, receivables, payables, inventory, cash and credit card receipts.
