Bio:
Amy Goff was born and raised in the state of Texas.  She first started her career as an administration of Wellness/Fitness programs which included teaching exercise and consulting for the Institute for Aerobics Research, Cooper Center in Dallas Texas.  She also spent some time as an Instructor/faculty for activity classes for the following places University of Texas Arlington, Good Shepherd Hospital, Illinois?sports medicine assessments and teaching classes.  She also worked in the corporate arena when she managed American Express employee fitness center in Phoenix Arizona.  Amy has been a full time faculty with MCCD since 1987.  She teaches classes such as Healthful Living, First Aid/CPR, Exercise Science, Recreation and activity classes.  Her Wellness, Fitness and Recreation Philosophy are:  In order to have a full life, one must have a good quality of life.  All the things accumulated and learned will be more valuable if a person is healthy.  Fitness should be enjoyed and a part of life.  EVERYONE can raise their level of health and fitness.
