Honors Updates  Upcoming Events:
The Honors Program will be hosting a Pizza with the Professors on Wednesday, September 10 from 11 until 1 in the Peridot Room. All Honors students are welcome to attend.
REMINDER: Honors Contracts for the Fall 2008 semester will be due on September 12! Honors Forum Luncheon for Forum Speaker Brian Fagan, September 17, 2008 Recent Events: 2008 President's Reception On August 21, the Honors Program hosted a reception for the incoming Scottsdale Community College Presidents Scholars. Dr. Jan Gehler and other members of the SCC faculty and administration introduced themselves to the students, while Phi Theta Kappa informed them of the many exciting opportunities here at SCC.
Maricopa/ASU Honors Alliance Over 80 of our current Honors Students were sent invitations to join the Maricopa/ASU Honors Alliance. Among other things the Alliance offers successful Honors students who transfer to ASU a $4,000 scholarship! More information is available at: http://www.maricopa.edu/alliance/honors/ |
