MANDATORY (REQUIRED!) ORIENTATION FOR ALL NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

New F-1 students, including transfer students

When?
Wednesday, January 11, 2012
8:00am - 3pm, including lunch

Peridot Room (Student Center building)

• Receive information about how to succeed at Scottsdale Community College; how to stay “in status” (legal) with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; student services on campus; American classroom culture; how to use your health insurance; employment options; and much more!
• You can meet other students and staff!
• We want to meet you!
• Free lunch!
• You can get your questions answered!
• Because we want to know that you arrived safely!
• Also, you will be given important information about your status as a student with an F-1 visa. There are many responsibilities and procedures that you need to know about as an international student at SCC!
