Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is one of the ten Maricopa Community Colleges (one of the largest community college systems in the United States), and has an excellent international reputation.

Scottsdale Community College is accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) which also accredits Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University, as well as 1,118 other post-secondary institutions of higher learning. These include the state universities of Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, and Oklahoma according to US national standards. NCA has a rigorous process that evaluates and validates the quality of education that SCC offers its students.

Scottsdale Community College has transfer articulation agreements with public and private colleges and universities to enable seamless transitions to 4 year institutions. The courses comprising the AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum, 35-credit general education requirements) and two-year Associate degree (60-64 credits) transfer as a block, with no loss of credit. Successful completion of the AGEC or Associate degree with a 2.5 Grade Point Average guarantees general admission to all our partner universities.
