Dual Enrollment courses are college level courses that are conducted on the campus of a high school, that are applicable to an established community college academic degree or certificate program, and that are transferable to a university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Board of Regents. A dual enrollment Course that is applicable to community college occupational degree or certificate program may be transferable to a university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Board of Regents.
Dual Enrollment classes meet at the high school during the regular high school day and are taught by college certificate, high school instructors using a college curriculum and text. The high school agrees to accept these college courses toward a student's high school completion, if needed. The course credits will become part of a student's permanent record at the community college.
