What Are The Degree Transfer Courses? 

Courses numbered 101,102, 111, 201, and 202 are the courses students must take to satisfy the language requirement for a college degree.  They are also great courses for anyone wishing to learn the language.

What Do You Do In 101 & 102?  201 & 202?

101 and 102 courses emphasize grammar and vocabulary building, while 201 and 202 courses practice speaking, reading and writing the language.  After completing 202, most students are fairly competent in the language and able to utilize it for business or pleasure.

What Are The Classes Offered?

We offer 101, 102, 201 and 202 as 16 week classes or as Intensive classes which meet more frequently for 8 weeks during the regular semesters.  These courses are also available in the summer in 5 week sessions and 8 week sessions. 

Who Should Take The Degree Transfer Courses?

While most students taking these courses will use them to transfer to a university to satisfy the language requirement, they are open to and recommended  to anyone interested in learning the language.
