EMUSIC/VOICES@WORK
Emusic and Voices@Work are the newest musical ensembles at Scottsdale Community College. The groups perform a wide range of music, from classical to pop, with a specialty in contemporary “World Music”. Students in this elite, auditioned ensemble work with the latest sound, music and video technology to create multi-media programs. In combination with Instinct Dancecorps, the groups have produced the award-winning, multimedia presentations of Cantata Mundi (2004-05), Songs of Sanctuary (2002-03), The System (2000-2001) and Carmina Burana (1998-1999). The groups have appeared on the Touring Roster for the AZ Commission on the Arts, and have been the recipients of a number of grants in support of their performance projects. They are featured regularly on Maricopa Colleges Television (MCTV)
