Three Steps to IRS SEE Exam Prep

Enroll in SCC's one semester Enrolled Agent program.

SCC's one-semester Enrolled Agent program will help you prepare for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE).*

Take and pass the IRS Special Enrollment Examination.

This  comprehensive, three-part exam can be taken in any order but must be passed within a two-year period.

Complete the required paperwork to become an Enrolled Agent.

To become a federally authorized tax practitioner, individuals must pass a suitability check, which will include tax compliance to ensure that you have filed all necessary tax returns and there are no outstanding tax liabilities; and criminal background.

On Your Time Online: All classwork can be completed entirely online. Students can complete the work on their schedule but must meet due dates set by the instructor.

*ACC121 and ACC221 include optional in-person or virtual meetings twice a week for the duration of the course.
