About the Employee Recognition Committee

Membership:

• The "Outstanding Employee of the Year" for each employee group will serve for the year following their award beginning after the spring awards ceremony and continuing through the following spring semester.
• The MAT employee of the year will serve as committee chair for the same term, followed by a second year as an ex-officio advisor to the committee.

Purpose:

• To provide for the continuous improvement and enhancement of employee recognition opportunities at Scottsdale Community College.
• To work with the Retirement Coordinator to recognize all members of the college community upon their retirement from the system.
• To facilitate the nomination, selection and recognition of the SCC "Outstanding Employees of the Year" for all employee groups.
• To enhance employee recognition for years of service to the college in conjunction with the SCC Administration and with the support of the District Office.
