Using Email in Blackboard
There is a built in email tool that is available in your Blackboard course. If your instructor uses this tool, it will be located under the "Discussion / Email" navigation button (refer to Navigating Blackboard for more on this tool).
All students enrolled in courses that use Blackboard must have a valid email address. If you do not have an email address you may sign up with a free service for one. We have listed a few of the more popular web sites with free email accounts below:
